Military service 1988-90 US infantry Airborne - Paraplegic Disabled Veteran
2X Paralympian in track and field (shot put and discus), Atlanta '96; Australia '00. In 1996 became Paralympian for first time and won a silver medal in discus and set a national record. Formally achieved world ranking of 4th in country in wheelchair racquetball. played tennis / wheelchair football / softball / basketball / road racing / snow ski / sled hockey & bowling.
Ambassador to 3 hospitals in peer counseling and spinal cord suppor t/ mentor for Christopher Reeves foundation. Former board member to Paralyzed Veterans of America 10+ years. current status: peer counselor / motivational speaker / mentor.
